Athletic Philosophy
At Desert Chapel Christian School, we believe that athletics is an integral part of education, and a Christ-centered athletic program is vital to our educational process. Therefore, we strive to honor the Lord in all we do, to “run in such a way that we may receive the prize.” We are trying to instill values such as integrity, teamwork, and perseverance in our athletes. We strive to get every student involved in athletics; teaching sports fundamentals in a structured environment to encourage success. Desert Chapel Middle & High School competes in the California Interscholastic Federal Southern Section.

We believe that is a fundamental part of our athletics programs to celebrate the achievements of our student athletes. The awards include athletic achievement, team leadership, and sportsmanship. We believe that this promotes the motivation of our students, coaches, and school spirit while acknowledging the strength of Christ through every person representing our school - whether on the football field, golf course, or volleyball court.
Team Award Nights
We celebrate our teams' achievements at the end of their season. We schedule Team Awards Nights on our High School campus in order to give our personal gratitude towards our student athletes and coaching staffs. If an athlete is unable to attend the team awards night, they may pick up their awards in the Middle & High School office.
